Two PC game masterpieces absolutely not to be missed in June

This coming June, gamers will prepare to welcome the appearance of two extremely high-quality blockbuster games that cannot be missed.

Shin Megami Tensei V is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus that will officially launch on June 14. This is the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series, one of Japan’s oldest and famous role-playing game (RPG) series.

The plot of Shin Megami Tensei V takes place in Tokyo, where the player takes on the role of an ordinary high school student caught up in the conflict between divine and demonic forces. Tokyo is thrust into a post-apocalyptic era where demons and gods fight for power. The main character combines with a divine being, becoming Nahobino – a powerful entity. Players will explore a world of destruction, fight evil, and make decisions that affect the fate of the world.

The second name is Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and will officially launch on June 21. After nearly two years since the first Elden Ring was released, the game’s final DLC expansion now has a release date. Titled Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the game will be released on June 21 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. This means that fans of FromSoftware in general and Elden Ring in particular will have an exciting summer.

Shadow of the Erdtree has been anticipated by Elden Ring fans since it was first revealed last March. The short teaser introducing the landscape and some of the action in the game has made fans unable to sit still. However, throughout 2023, FromSoftware has been silent about this project. Until today, Shadow of the Erdtree officially had a release date.

Before the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware was actively working on the original version of the game. Notable improvements in graphics and gameplay, Ray Tracing technology has been integrated on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC versions.
